Experience

I am a trained educator who can help young students succeed. I'm available to tutor reading, writing, phonics, elementary math, middle school math, English, art, and many other subjects. I also teach English as a second language. I received my degree in Business Administration with a focus on computer applications from De La Salle - College of St. Benilde. After completing my undergraduate studies I went on to work as a preschool teacher. My experience working with young students was incredibly rewarding, and I decided to further pursue a career as an educator. I now have a degree in Professional Education from St. Theresa's College. While I was working towards my degree in education I had the privilege of tutoring students in kindergarten through the sixth grade in a variety of subjects. As a tutor I feel that it is my job to simplify complex concepts and ideas for my students. I tailor my teaching approach to the unique learning style of each student. I believe that every student is capable of reaching their fullest potential, they just need the guidance of an educator and some positive encouragement. When I am not teaching or tutoring I enjoy playing the piano and practicing yoga.
