I am a current student at Kean University, where I am working towards a bachelor's degree in biomedicine. In my younger days, I tried to avoid science and math as much as possible. It was always very difficult for me to understand the material in these courses, until one of my teachers completely changed my outlook.This is one of the reasons I now tutor subjects like algebra, calculus, biology, chemistry, and math. I want to show students that it is possible to understand these concepts when they are taught in the right way. I tutor without pressure or intimidation, which I believe helps students. I am able to find the good in everyone that I tutor, no matter what their backgrounds or character might be. It is my job to find the best in my students so that they are able to achieve their academic goals. I pride myself on my ability to stay patient, especially when my students aren't able to understand the material when they first look at it.When I'm not tutoring, I spend my time helping others through science and research. I also enjoy being adventurous and spontaneous when I have free time.
